As we’re closing down the days to the first month in 2024. It’s time to celebrate and announce our ‘Star of the Month’ for January. We’re proud to announce that Tom is our Star of the Month on the Inspired programme for January.
Tom takes part in our work experience programme on Mondays; working in the Youth Inspired cafe. Part of his role whilst working in the cafe is taking orders, and preparing ingredients to make homemade soup. Tom then serves the soup to the clients and staff at Youth Inspired. If there is any leftover soup it is then donated to SOS Saturday Outreach service. Tom has settled into his role well and has demonstrated excellent work skills in the cafe.
Whilst working in the cafe Tom has made great progress with his social skills and independence; gaining confidence and supporting those who he works with.
