Qualification & Subject Options
Our Aspire to Achieve course offers learners the opportunity to explore, improve and learn new skills across a variety of educational and functional subject areas.
These areas include: English and Maths (from Entry Level 1 to Entry Level 3), and Functional Skills (Level 1 & 2), such as: Personal, Social & Life Skills; Sport/Healthy Living; Employment & Vocational Development; and ICT with essential digital skills. Aspire to Achieves portfolio based qualifications allow us to deliver bite-size units to the learners, that count towards full qualifications.
English & Maths
From Entry Level 1-3 and Level 1 & 2 Functional Skills. Portfolio based qualifications allow us to deliver bite-size units that count towards full qualifications.
Personal & Social Development
Sessions on Health and Fitness, building self-esteem and confidence, relationships, being out in the community accessing local facilities and recognising and developing hobbies and interests.
Life Skills
Independent living skills couldn’t be more important to our students and clients alike. As part of this element of the programme students plan, shop and cook resourceful meals, they learn essential household skills including safety in the home. Work in the community includes travel training, money skills and communication.
Sport & Healthy Living
Accessing local services such as sports centres for tennis, football, badminton and the gym. Other classes include body awareness, yoga, tai chi, outdoor games, relaxation and visits to the local parks.
ICT & Digital Skills
Learn essential digital skills including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint presentation skills; and other software packages and ICT games.
Employment/WEX
Employment/WEX can involve work experience in our cafe and work on our own allotment, as well as employment skills sessions such as building a CV, job seeking skills, visiting our local Jobs Hub and preparing for an interview. We also have external work experience placements which are carried out in a range of provisions including: Food Bank, Kings House Project, Hobby Hive, Dame Alice Court, Gallones and many more!

Working With Young People
Youth Inspired specialise in working with young people with learning difficulties & disabilities, such as autism or mental health conditions. We help them to learn new skills, achieve their goals, & move forward; in a safe, secure & engaging environment.
Working With Adults
Youth Inspired also work with adults with learning difficulties & disabilities. Our dedicated team work closely with them to help them overcome their difficulties, improve their confidence & help them gain greater independence.
