Class 3 Art Qualification Showcase

Over the last three months, Class 3 have been working towards their Art qualification, producing an impressive collection of both 2D and 3D artwork. Using a shared theme as inspiration, learners explored the work of two influential artists and developed their own creative styles along the way.

During Phase One, students took inspiration from Pablo Picasso and his distorted-face period, experimenting with bold shapes, abstract forms and expressive features. This gave learners the opportunity to explore creativity through colour, structure and imagination.

In Phase Two, the group moved on to the vibrant Pop Art style of Andy Warhol, focusing specifically on his Endangered Animals series. Students created striking, high-impact artwork that showcased their understanding of colour, pattern and visual messaging.

As part of their qualification, learners were asked to gather feedback on their work. Wanting to make the experience even more meaningful, Class 3 decided to take things a step further by creating and hosting their very own Art Gallery exhibition. Students worked incredibly hard to design, organise and present a professional showcase featuring every piece of artwork they had created throughout the project.

The exhibition welcomed learners and staff from across Youth Inspired, alongside visitors from The House on Friday. Feedback from everyone who attended was overwhelmingly positive, with many commenting on the creativity, individuality and skill demonstrated throughout the gallery. Each piece reflected not only artistic progress, but also growing confidence, self-expression and pride in their work.

We are extremely proud of everything Class 3 have achieved during this project. Their commitment, creativity and teamwork have been outstanding from start to finish.

The group are also excited to share that, alongside Art Inspired at The House, they will soon be exhibiting their artwork in a local public art gallery a fantastic opportunity and a well-deserved celebration of their talent and hard work.
