He wanted to come and visit us, to find out more about Youth Inspired.
He went into each of our classes to meet all of our students. Our students prepared for his visit by researching who the Bishop was and finding out what his duties were; whilst finding some interesting facts about him.
All of the Youth Inspired students had an opportunity to ask the Bishop individual questions. After he met the Youth Inspired students, he then went to go and see our Inspired clients who were working on their current enterprise project in readiness for Easter. The Bishop spent time talking to the clients about the project they were working on and producing.
Both of our students and clients enjoyed having The Bishop of Bedford at Youth Inspired.
We’ve also had a message back from The Bishop who said:
“Thank you to you and your colleagues for a wonderful visit to Youth Inspired yesterday. I came away inspired both by those I met and the work that you do. Please pass on my thanks to everybody that I met. Some of the questions were very special.
